AVAJH - HIGH SPEED TRIPPING RELAY

APPLICATION

High Speed tripping duties.

 

DESCRIPTION

A fast operating, multi-contact, attracted armature relay with a high degree of mechanical stability. Type AVAJH13 has hand-reset contacts and an operating coil cut-out contact. Type AVAJS13 has self-reset contacts.Both types have an operating current in excess of 0.025 Amp. And are suitable for operation on D.C.supplies.

 

COIL RATING

24, 110 or 220 Volts D.C. (Other ratings available on request.)
The relays operate satisfactorily down to 50% of rated voltage.
The operating coil of type AVAJS13 and AVAJH13 is continuously rated for 120% or rated voltage.

 

OPERATING TIME

Approximately 0.012 second at rated voltage.

 

BURDEN

Type AVAJH13 is available in two variations - high burden and low burden
Type AVAJS13 is a low burden relay.

AVAJH13 Four pairs, hand-reset, in any combination of make & break.


AVAJS13 Four pairs, self-reset, in any combination of make & break with a maximum of two break.

OPERATING INDICATOR

AVAJH13 - Mechanically operated, hand reset. AVAJS13 - Can be supplied with or without an operation indicator.
