AVAX21, AVAX31 - TRIP CIRCUIT SUPERVISION RELAY

Used for supervision of Trip Circuits of circuit breakers. This relay operates self reset alarm contacts for failure of trip supply and open circuit of trip coil or trip circuit wiring.

AVAX21 Monitors the trip circuit only when the circuit breaker is closed (without preclosing supervision).
AVAX31 Monitors the trip circuit in both closed and open position of the circuit breaker.

 

RATINGS

30, 50, 110 or 220V DC

 

LOOP RESISTANCE

 Maximum permissible loop resistance in the alarm supply circuit is as under :

30 Volts normal supply             200 ohms

other voltage                            400 ohms.

 

OPERATING TIME

 The time between failure of the trip circuit and operation of alarm contacts is less than 0.4 seconds.

 

THERMAL RATING

 The relay units will withstand 120% of rated voltage continuously.
